Please keep in mind the SendStation dock can not convert the iPod's line-out into a DIGITAL signal; the iPod audio output remains an analog signal with robust "line-level" strength perfect for connectivity into any headphone amplifier of your choice.
The PocketDock Line Out with full-size USB packaging includes two 6 ft. ultralight and compact [white] audio cables: One comes with 3.5 mm (1/8") stereo plugs on both ends, one is a hybrid interconnect with stereo RCA plus on one end and 3.5 mm plugs; the 3.5 mm plugs are designed to also fit the 1st Gen iPhone’s recessed headphone jack. Both cables together are slim enough to fit into the palm of your hand and come with detachable velcro straps for convenient storage and cable management.
