Cardas Balanced Headphone Cable for HD650 (20ft.)
If you're buying a HeadRoom Desktop Balanced, Home Balanced or Max Balanced amplifier, you MUST have custom-terminated balanced cables to enjoy the full capabilities of balanced audio; we think the Sennheiser HD650 is the headphone most worthy of wiring up balanced-style. Once you’ve recabled your cans and connected a great audio source to your balanced-drive, XLR-output headphone amp, you'll have your own little slice of blissful musical heaven to curl up in. To replace the cables of your HD600 or HD650s, simply pull the cable connectors out with a firm straight tug (DO NOT TWIST!) and then plug in your new Cardas cable. Cardas Audio custom-molds the connectors and uses a four-conductor cable to dramatically reduce the number of solder joints. Their build quality, cable materials and the sonic results inside your head are simply superb. Cardas Audio balanced headphone replacement cables are terminated to stereo XLR 3-pin connectors and come in a 'standard' 10-foot length and this extra-long 20-foot length.
