Whether you're using the stock headphone cable or one of the sweet but overly-long Cardas Audio upgraded cables, hitting the road with your Sennheiser headphones can end up a frustrating exercise in labor-intensive cord wrangling. No more! This handy 4-foot long replacement cable will give you just enough slack to place your portable system within easy reach, and will completely eliminate the need to be always detangling and stuffing away excess cable. Terminated to a 3.5mm (1/8") mini-plug for use with most portable audio players, iPods, laptops, and portable headphone amps like one of our HeadRoom Mobile Amp or Micro Amp products! And don't forget the nicely added benefit of a super-high quality cable upgrade for your audiophile headphones: they will deliver exquisitely better-detailed, clearer, more musical audio to float your eyeballs in!
To replace the headphone cables of your HD25, HD580, HD600, or HD650, simply pull the stock cable connectors STRAIGHT out with a firm, straight tug and then simply re-insert the replacement cable the same way. DO NOT TWIST THE CORD DURING REMOVAL!! Unlike other headphone replacement cables, Oregon's Cardas Audio Company custom-molds the connectors and uses an upscale, proprietary four-conductor cable to dramatically reduce the number of solder joints. This is some darn good stuff and should last for a veritable lifetime of daily listening enjoyment! Cardas Audio headphone replacement cables with the full-sized 1/4" stereo plugs are available in 10', 15' and 20' lengths. Also available are balanced (XLR-terminated) headphone cable sets for use with our HeadRoom Balanced amplifiers.

Recommend Product: Yes
Pros: Improved detail, warmth, extension
Cons: 50$ a ft.
They can. I really loved my HD600s right out of the box, but this cable makes them truly shine. Don't think of it as $200. Think of it as $20 for each facet of your music that'll will be improved; bass extension, clarity, (slight) warmth, more relaxed sound....etc, etc.
4ft is short. You probably won't be connecting this to your home stereo and sitting on the sofa though. This cable is perfect for a desktop amp or a portably player. I wouldn't want anything longer if I'm sitting at my desk.
This cable is truly the old cliche of "The money's worth it if it makes you eagerly listen to all your old music again."

Recommend Product: Yes
Pros: Natural sound, easy to install
Cons: Wish it were 5' or 6' instead of 4'
Beware that 4' is *really* short, so you'll need to be sure that your amp can be located at the front edge of your desk so that you can comfortably sit in an office chair while using a keyboard tray.
