These are sweet reference interconnects suitable for your whole audio system and represent a nice sound quality performance improvement over the non-'M~Path' DiMarzio design.
Besides being very attractive in red and black outer sheathing, the M-Path interconnects feature 16AWG Teflon-insulated OFHC, ultrasonically welded to self-locking RCA connectors. By fusing the individual strands into a solid conductor and eliminating solder joints, the M-Path design delivers a sonic difference you can clearly hear versus any other interconnects at this price. The DiMarzio M-Path interconnects set a whole new standard for clarity, detail resolution accuracy, and dynamic musical performance. Also available in 1.5ft, 4.5ft, and 6ft lengths.
DiMarzio Mpath Cables are very similar to DiMarzio \ables: (12 AWG OFHC copper, gold-plated OFHC copper spade lug connectors, Teflon dielectric and nylon overbraid sheathing) but, they feature a high-tech ultrasonic welding technique to fuse the individual wire strands into a solid conductor, eliminating solder from the connection. This results in Increased dynamics, greater detail, driving rhythm, deeper bass, greater top-end extension and a more realistic 3D sound stage presentation.
DiMarzio Super M-Path Speaker Cables take that technology to the next step. They use the same OFHC copper, gold-plated OFHC copper spade lug connectors, Teflon dielectric and nylon overbraid sheathing and the ultrasonic welding employed in the M-Path Speaker Cables. However, the copper mass is doubled by using two 12-gauge wires to make the positive and two 12-gauge wires to make the negative, increasing the gauge to 9. They seem to have greater dynamic range, more spacious bottom end, greater high frequency and overtone extension resulting in sweeter, and even more life like sound-staging. They're more relaxed and open with greater dynamic range.
