This replacement headphone cord from Sennheiser is an easy fix for the Sennheiser HD580 and HD600 elderly cable issues. If ol' Fido gets a hold of your headphones, or if your stock headphone cord develops an intermittent connection, this new cord will easily solve your problems. (Well, at least the problems with your cables.) Quick-detach 2-prong earcup connections identical to original cable.
Identical to the stock-issue HD580/HD600 headphone cord, this replacement cable is terminated to a mini-plug 1/8" [3.5mm] connection. The packaging does NOT include a full-size 1/4" plug adapter.
