Formerly called 'Baby Blues' earplugs, here's great high-fidelity ambient noise attenuators from the audiology geniuses at Etymotic Research in Illinois. These earplugs will attenuate approximately -12dB up to -20dB of external sound evenly across the entire frequency range depending on caliber of fit seal. Speech and music stays clear with ambient noise reduced to safe levels for long-term listening. Ideal for musicians, mosh pit fiends, or audio enthusiasts seeking to reduce noise fatigue and protect their hearing from potentially permanently damaging loud sounds. Also great as hearing protection for loud workplaces. Protect your ears -- they're the last ones you got!

The softer, more pliable grade of blue silicone rubber used in the Etymotic 'Baby Blues' Standard Fit earplugs allows for improved wearing comfort over the 'Large Fit' ER-20 Etymotic earplugs for folks with small or sensitive ear canals. A nifty hard-sided storage/travel case comes with the ER-20 Baby Blues.

Great, great earplugs.

Recommend Product: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, not as muffled as other earplugs.
Cons: You do lose some high frequencies when they are in.

These re-usable earplugs are great. They fit my ears very well. I use them at loud concerts to protect my hearing. I also use them when I camp, travel, etc, with people who snore. These are comfortable enough for me to sleep in, but not without some fidgeting and getting comfortable. I have also used these while operating circular saws and other electronic tools. Lastly, I use them when I go to the range with my .22. For shotguns or larger calibers, I would definitely recommend getting more protection, but for the small .22 these are more than adequate. These are also much less intrusive than the large earmuffs often used for this purpose.

The travel case is fantastic. They store the earplugs and string easily, and will fit into any pocket or bag with ease.

Thanks, Etymotic Research, for making a product that will protect my hearing for years to come.

Great for drumming. These cut off the sound on the entire range, and done it very well. It does what it does. Don't damage your ears.

These are now a staple whenever I drum. I use the ER6i for "live" performances.
