The DT 250-250 have soft, velvet ear cups that fit snugly around the ears and a padded headband, resulting in a decent level of wearing comfort for long analytical listening sessions. They are made with a sturdy and durable -- yet flexible -- plastic/alloy composite made to survive the wear & tear around the studio or office. They provide an approximate -10dB to -12dB of isolation from surrounding environmental noises while delivering fairly accurate musical resolution. The detachable coiled DT250 headphone cord connects conveniently to one earpiece, eliminating any nightmarish double 'Y'-cord tangling. The DT250 come terminated to a 1/8" [3.5mm] mini-plug and handily include a full-size 1/4" inch adapter in the Beyer package. A 2-year manufacturers product warranty remains standard with all beyerdynamic headphones.
