The beyerdynamic DT235 use a simple but quite durably well-built black plastic headband assembly with mid-sized 'supra-aural' fabric-padded earcups that are just slightly smaller than those found on full-sized headphones; For many wearers, this design remains one of the more comfortable portable-use/mobile headphones in the entire earpad 'sealed/closed' category. Simple sizing adjustment is provided via a soft spring-loaded inner strap made of a pliable rubbery material... Did we mention this is a VERY comfortable headphone?! The DT235 have a straight 2.5-meter headphone cord exiting from one earpiece, thus eliminating nightmarish double "Y" cord tangling. The hard-wired cable comes terminated to a 1/8" [3.5mm] mini-plug and a snap-on full-size 1/4" inch adapter is on the cord.
