Our HeadRoom Ultra Micro Amp / Ultra Micro DAC both operate in deep "Class-A" biasing utilizing Burr-Brown 627OPAs widely renown as just about the most expensive op-amps available in the industry -- and worth every musical penny. We also provide two international-use, all-voltage Astrodyne Power Supplies to ensure clean, quiet, robust current on demand for those extremely power-hungry Ultra units. (2 Astrodyne PS included, one for each Ultra Micro component). Prediction: you'll stare increduously at your new HeadRoom Ultra Stack rig, lose yourself amidst the beautiful music, and wonder how such gorgeously accurate sound can come from such small spaces... This HeadRoom Package Includes:
CABLES/ACCESSORIES:The HeadRoom Ultra Micro Audiophile Package does NOT include any interconnect cabling. A USB cable will allow you to hook up your HeadRoom Ultra Micro Stack's DAC directly to a computer. If using our DAC's optical input, you'll need an Optical Digital Cable, and if you are using a digital-coaxial input into our DAC, take a look at the superb audiophile-grade Acoustic Research coaxial cable. To hook up your Ultra Micro Amp directly to a portable audio player with an analog 1/8” (3.5mm) output, you will need a mini 1/8" to 1/8" cable. We recommend the Cardas 6 inch or 12 inch mini to mini cables, or for longer runs we suggest the Cardas 1 meter or 2 meter versions. If you are using a source with an analog RCA output, you will likely need an RCA-to-mini converter cable. Or, take a look at all of our cables.
