Grado Earpads (Large) Pair

Anyone who has talked to us on the phone over the past fifteen years has heard us say that Grado headphones are great for rock and roll, but might lack the ultra-smooth refinement and soundstage expansiveness desirable for most classical and acoustic music. We just felt they were maybe a bit boomy and slightly tonally edgy at times. Well... pierce our tongue and hang us with speaker wire! This recent earpad re-design from Grado Labs basically transforms the sound of Grado headphones. They seem to open up the highs -- getting rid of an annoying harshness heard around 2 kHz on some models -- and also eliminate potentially murky mid-bass resonances. Highly recommended earpad and fully interchangeable with any Grado SR or RS headphone model. Yippee!
