Grace Design m902
Born in the world's most demanding recording studios and tested in every imaginable reference application, the Grace Design m902 is a compact work of headphone amp expression. At the core of the m902 is the meticulously designed high-current 'transimpedance' amplifier circuitry, which effortlessly drives even the lowest impedance headphones with aplomb. The built-in Grace DAC stage for all your digital sources makes it a full-featured analog/digital performer ready for some intense headphone listening and analytical audio work.
At the core of Boulder Colorado's Grace Design m902 headphone amp / DAC unit is the meticulously designed high-current transimpedance amplifier circuitry, which effortlessly drives even the lowest impedance headphones with analytical clarity and intense detail resolution power. This no-compromise circuitry provides the extreme high-definition and superb low-level ambient detail recovery for which all Grace Design products are world famous. Long-familiar recorded material becomes sonically renewed, transparent, and freshly alive while critical, previously obscured details in editing and mastering work become obvious and easy to manipulate.
Professionals and audiophiles alike will simply be floored by the m902's latest generation, high performance 24/192 DAC, which includes unique s-Locktm dual stage PLL (Phase Lock Loop) for extremely low intrinsic jitter and rock solid digital performance. A full compliment of digital and analog inputs are available (including USB) which are all selectable via a front panel rotary switch.
The m902 also includes an exciting new feature to simulate the acoustics of a loudspeaker listening environment, which significantly improves imaging while reducing listening fatigue when using headphones. This feature employs carefully designed signal crossfeed, filtering and delay circuits to simulate HRTF (Head Related Transfer Functions). Additionally, the m902 cleverly adds stereo analog line outputs for connection to studio monitors, allowing it to also function as an elegantly simple high fidelity monitor controller or even a purist audiophile preamplifier/ DAC.
REMOTE CONTROL: The handy remote control unit for the Grace Design m902 amplifier is sold separately. The cost for the m902 remote control accessory is $125 extra, as shown below:
