The MusicBox is Peachtree’s brand-new complete music system featuring an internal headphone amp, D-A processor and built-in digital iPod dock. The Peachtree MusicBox automatically mutes its room speaker outputs when you plug in your headphones. But you're still getting the full benefit of the MusicBox’s killer tube preamplifier section as the warm tube glowing behind the unit's front panel window confims.

Pros: Versatility, Good Value, Great One Stop Shop
Cons: Remote needs to be in the line of sight of MusicBOX
Lo and behold, I came across the MusicBox which met all those requirements and then some!
The sound is phenomenal! The tube enhances everything: it sweetens vocals, adds some bass (I can hear the growl of the bass guitars), and Tom Tom drums are fuller. The soundstage is bigger than before and I can hear even more detail than ever ( why won't the people ever shut up during Bob Marley's "No Woman, No Cry"?)
The combination of direct digital feed from the iPod, DAC, and tube make even crappy 128 kbps files sound better, so I can listen to my entire library without the regrets of re-ripping files to a higher bit rate.
The MusicBox can also do a decent job as a desktop stereo. If I want to be less selfish, I hook up some home recording studio monitors, so others can play too.
So if you're looking to take the next step in upgrading the sound for your cans, the MusicBox is a great one stop shop and value.
