In this price range, the Grado SR60 and Koss PortaPro are better sounding, but these aren't bad for acoustic music.

Though not as pretty as some headphones, these cans are comfortable, have a self-adjusting headband and single-sided cable attachment, and are driven fairly well by a portable CD player.
