HeadRoom offers balanced headphones and makes balanced headphone amplifiers for complete systems with unsurpassed musical fidelity

HeadRoom is the original inventor of the world's first commercially available balanced headphone amp, The BlockHead, way back in 1999. Since then, balanced headphone drive has become the industry-wide pinnacle of headphone fidelity for many enthusiasts and audiophiles. Headphones must be recabled to XLR left/right terminations for balanced operation; the left and right headphone drivers are then actively driven at both sides of the coil with normal and inverted audio signals via a balanced headphone amp.
