The in-ear headphone category is completely on fire and we now find products made by some rather unlikely folks in this field... er, Polaroid earbuds anyone? Fortunately, the Brooklyn-based Grado family has been hard at work for generations designing and building the most popular series of on-ear open-back headphones around so they know exactly what's needed for the best sound quality possible. The affordable in-ear Grado Labs iGi earphones [pronounced "iggy"] are the earbud corollary to the Grado SR-60i headphones in overall sound and price-point level and offer listeners a great starting point to experience high-end Grado performance at the lowest cost. Like the SR-60i's approach, the iGi sound is smooth and punchy with a slight roll-off in the critical, most extended frequencies; it's a welcoming and smooth listening experience a huge step above the usual buds found in the box with your new portable music device.
The Grado Labs iGi in-ear headphones include 3 sizes of eartip sleeves [S/M/L] for a personalized in-ear fit. Try them all for the best potential fit -- and best sound quality. Fortunately, the iGi earpiece design doesn't have a deep insertion characteristic into the ear canal so even newcomers to earphones can easily use and wear these for hours on end. The free manufacturer's warranty remains standard only when purchased from true Grado-authorized headphone dealers -- like HeadRoom!

Recommend Product: Yes
Pros: Balanced low, mid, high, good value
Cons: plastic material easy to break
Between these and the Klipsch Image S4, I preffered these Grado. Grado has better natural bass and natural highs. Klipsch sounded a little artifical. But I thought mids advantage was Klipsch. Grado does have a scooped sound to me.
Overall, the sound is well balanced. Not missing any frequency like single armatures miss lows.
