Cons: Cable worries me
What you hear about their bass presence is true. You get a real sense of being thumped by a subwoofer sitting under your seat. They give me clean highs and good mids.
Isolation is amazing. I know because I have had people yelling in my ear and I've hardly noticed them. So the outside stays outside and you keep your music all to yourself.
The cord worries me sometimes because it seems so thin but I travel a lot and this gets wound up and stored (in the case of course) and has never given me a problem. Guess I'm over protective. One problem I do have is that the cord is slightly what I believe some call "microphonic", whatever the real word is, if you tap on the wire you will ear it in your ears. I use them while studying so they tap the desk when I move my papers. I just put them under my sweatshirt now, no biggie.
Bottom line: Money well spent. Sound great. Buy them already!

These things DO TAKE SOME BREAKING IN!! When you get them be sure to run them on medium to high volume for 8-12 hours to break in the drivers. After that its essential to get a nice seal with the right tips, which they give you several sizes and choice between shroom tips and flanges. (the medium 2's they supplied were just right for me). The cases they come with are also of really awesome quality, the nice red and black red suede one especially.
ANOTHER IMPORTANT NOTE, monster has updated these, I saw the downsides of these on other reviews and was incredibly surprised to find they converted the end jack into a 90 degree angles as opposed to the straight edge its pictured as (they really ought to update their pictures). The plastic splitter is of good quality has a nice sleek shine to it as well.
The sound on these bad boys is just astounding guys, you get a good clean range of clear lows and a good balance of mids and highs. These are WAY more balanced as far as sound goes as opposed to the Dre Tours, your listening experience won't be dithered by your music taste with these things. It's an amazing feeling to listen to these for hours on end and totally forget I have headphones in my ears, cause they really are in ear speakers as monster advertises them to be.
Other thoughts and cons, me personally I think the cable could be longer, it hardly tangles in itself when in use which is awesome. I CANNOT JUDGE DURABILITY I've only ran these for 2 months and they are running strong. So glad I got me a pair of headphones that I'm more than happy with my purchase and have no regrets picking up =).
