Applications:
The NOCS NS200 in-ear headphones are smartphone-oriented headsets offering superb sonics and full featured connectivity for a wide array of specified smartphone brands. We were frankly overjoyed to find such a reasonably priced product that does so much so well. With the exception of a bass response that can lean towards slightly boomy with certain recordings -- which in turn causes the highs to sound a little distant -- these are an amazing set of sub-$70 earphones. The NOCS NS200 for Apple iPhone sonic signature lends itself to an enjoyable and nicely 'forgiving' mobile listening experience with iTunes music and lower-bitrate mp3 files; we found streaming audio also synegizes very well with the slightly brighter presentation common to most Android or Apple devices. That said, any smartphone-listening basshead will likely fall madly in love with these!
3-button Apple controller on-cord allows easy hands-free track, call and volume remote access. We find the small size of all of the NOCS in-ears to fit our small-headed and small-eared reviewers quite well and the varied tip assortment allows those with larger ears to get a good fit and secure in-ear seal as well. The small earpiece dimensions should work great for motorcyclists or other active listeners who wear a helmet with full ear coverage.
As mentioned, the NS 200 is available in two different 3-button control variations, this one right here for iPhone, one for HTC and Samsung GSII. There is also a single button universal control for use with almost all modern smartphones.
