Perhaps not quite as good-sounding as the now-discontinued Sennheiser MX450 earbud, but very darn close. The MX500's built-in sliding volume control housed on the cable is likely a bit much but some listeners might find it a plus to avoid dealing with the volume settings on the player itself. Provides quite comfortable ergonomics for most wearers.
