The flexible, comfortable earhooks will keep the earphones securely in place even during heavy treadmill runs or full-speed track workouts. The OMX80's multi-position clip-on earpiece assemblies are sweat & water-resistant with extra-durable cord constructions, so these little cans will survive pounding the stepper, lifting weights, or shooting hoops with aplomb while looking effortlessly slick in the process. The OMX80's earhooks loop over the ear for an extremely stable fit even during sharp movements. Expect some mild attenuation of enviromental noise but the OMX80's fairly shallow earbud-type fit will not shut out environmental noise completely -- meaning you can still maintain some crucial situational awareness. Good sound quality from Sennheiser's proprietary 'BassWind' audio engineering delivers solid lows and decently rendered highs given the price & 'exercise' category so the OMX80 should sound clean & robust directly from any iPod or MP 3 player.
