This wireless headphone system is the same as the RS 65 except for an added circuit that supposedly reduces transmission noise. Sennheiser's specs indicate a clear transmission range of 100 meters, although we have found this to be slightly optimistic if there are major barriers in between the headphones and the base. However we feel their transmission range is excellent and easily long enough for most household activities. It seems to us that this circuit doesn't do too much to improve the sound; in fact, it seems to slightly reduce sound quality. We recommend the RS 65 instead.
