The JayBird Freedom are in-ear wireless Bluetooth headphones featuring a built-in microphone to take calls while you're out and about. The Freedom's untethered Bluetooth signal transmission avoids the need for cables (or tangles!) when on the move or working out at the gym without sacrificing neither sound nor comfort. The sole Freedom 'cord' merely serves to connect the left/right earpieces and loops behind the neck. The earpiece fit is more earbud-oriented than a true 'in-ear monitor' with shallower positioning into the ear canal that allows easy wearing while avoiding total ambient isolation -- nice for when you still want to stay in touch with your environs. 50ft transmission range from your Bluetooth source allows footloose roaming without losing the signal.
- Easy, stable earpiece fit into the ear canal ideal for mobile or active-use listening
- Very musical sound with impressive warm bass response for wireless Bluetooth in-ears
- Built-in microphone for smartphones with music/track controls located on right earpiece
- Includes 3 sizes of proprietary silicone ear cushions/earfins for an extra-stable, personalized fit
- JayBird wireless Bluetooth adapters available for any device (sold separately)
- Midnight Black color only
What's In The Box:
- Freedom USB charging cable
- 3 sizes - silicone eartips S/M/L
- 3 sizes - silicone earfins S/M/L
- Hard-shell protective travel case
The HeadRoom crew has just been knocked out by the amazing sound performance of the JayBird Freedom in-ear Bluetooth headphones. Is it the best Bluetooth in-ear sound quality we've heard yet? In a word, yep! Amazing fidelity and a wonderfully smooth timbral presentation that was -- until now -- unheard in wireless Bluetooth headphones makes the JayBird Freedom an astonishing audio development in the world of cord-free headphones. Given its totally reasonable price, we're confident wireless iPhone / iPad / smartphone listeners will be extremely impressed at the Freedom's killer no-cord-needed sound quality. The superb A2DP Bluetooth 2.0 engine and SBC codec behind the Freedom's stereo 16-bit wireless transmission scheme renders very high quality music with palpable impact and dynamically clear detail that's sure to power you through the toughest workouts -- or just put a spring in your step commuting busy streets or doing some personal listening at the office. The Freedom's engaging tone will drive your music with full, fun bass that retains discernible texture along with extended mids / highs presence light-years from the usual tinny, canned sound of old Bluetooth headphones. Built-in microphone plus phone call + player control allows volume, play/pause, next and back track plus call answer/end, all from the Freedom's right earpiece. The stellar Bluetooth sound is clear testament to the impressive audio engineering behind Utah-based JayBird Headphones.
The JayBird Freedom wireless in-ears come in Midnight Black color only and arrive with a great accessories kit outfitted with three sizes of ear clips plus 3 sizes of earfin hooks/loops that provide an extra-stable, secure fit for active exercisers and workouts. The sole cord on the Freedom serves to join left / right earpieces together and features a tie to snug the cable against the back of your neck once they're on. With cosmetics inspired by sports car grills and the slick durability of silicone, the JayBird Freedom's unique hexagonal silicone eartips deliver superb comfort and personalized fit for any user. The honeycombed eartip center provides balanced resistance against the back bowl of the ear canal, thus holding the eartip securely forward within the ear. The JayBird lifetime warranty against sweat is a huge plus and ensures these cool wireless cans will last the test of time and heavy-duty use no matter how hot or moist your gym work gets. In fact, according to JayBird, no other headphone is designed quite like Freedom when it comes to 'sweat proofing' Freedom earpieces are double-shot/over-molded (fused together) with rubberized center button and outer earpiece rubber seals. Tiny clamps inside the earpieces hold the main housing and front cover together firm against the rubber sealing. The internal speaker/transducer cup and main earpiece body are one single hermetic part, eliminating all screws and seams. The USB charger cover is protectively recessed, volume buttons are covered in rubberized sweat-proof surfacing, and even the mic opening has an acoustically transparent gauze cover, all designed to hermetically seal against moisture and protect your JayBird investment for a lifetime.

Pros: Good quality, Comfortable and great value
Cons: Have to remember to charge it and on/off button a tad little stiff.
Little complain so far. Works fine, comfortable, holds well during run and no problem with sweat at all. Precisely what I am looking for in a wireless.
Two minor glitch. If you put the phone on your left pocket, Bluetooth connection might occasionally be interrupted. I put it on my right pocket and it's very much better, less, if not none of the interruption.
The on/off/play/pause button can feel a little stiff and when answering calls you have to take it out of your ear to click the button. Otherwise, with the bud inside your ear, pressing the button will result in shoving the bud further inside your ear and you still won't be able to activate the button.
