Yuin G2A
MSRP $59.00
Whether it's Mom not wanting to muss her hair, a skateboarder who's wearing a helmet or maybe folks just liking to wear a hat, these little headphones won't fail to surprise with a great listening experience. The Yuin G2A is an "ear clip" or clip-on style headphone for applications where a headphone with a normal headband won't work, like extra-active uses at the gym, hitting the treadmill, or for outdoor applications. The G2A feature open-back earpieces that allow you to hear your surroundings while listening at mild to standard volume levels.
Product Features:
- Excellent sound at this price range.
- Open design let's you remain aware of your surroundings.
- Clips securely to ears with good comfort and stability.
What's In The Box:
- replacement earpads
- 1/4" adaptor
Applications:
The YUIN G2A are amongst the best-sounding 'clip-on' style headphones we've ever heard at HeadRoom. Efficient, low-impedance design for use directly from iPods, MP3 players and laptops without an amp. Excellent candidate for active listening uses and gym or exercise work since the earclips help to secure the headphones into place--even when getting nutty on the treadmill, biking around the track, or hitting the skate park.
The G2A earpieces come in a cool brushed grey color and feature the YUIN and G2 logos. The earclips are made of a dark plastic composite and very comfortable--as far as these things go in the 'earclip' clip-on headphone genre. The Y-cord measures 5 ft long and terminates to a straight [3.5mm] 1/8" gold-plated mini-plug jack. A handy replacement set of earpads is thoughtfully included. The Yuin G2A 1-year warranty is serviced in North America by Head-Direct Audio located in New York, USA.

Recommend Product: Yes
Pros: Sound Quality
Cons: Can become uncomfortable after prolonged use
The Yuins can become a bit uncomfortable after prolonged use (like the SR60s), where the KSC75s (also clip-on type) are better, but the sound quality is better on the G2As than the KSC75s.
Listening through computer with Realtek ALC889 audio codec.

Pros: Nice sound, comftorble
Cons: Clips are to loose
I wound up missing more of the music than anything with these, I hear if you get an over the head style band to clip on to these they make a firmer connection and sound better but I haven't tried.
Most of the time I would get frustrated and hold them to my ears just to hear things properly. Also the cable is a bit odd to the touch, but it was a firm cable. The construction was very nice to, Yuin really did a nice job but that clip really should have something to keep the headphones firm on your ear.
Some may like the looseness but I would rather have had a spring or something to keep them tight on my ear. It really made me not like these and not use them, would I buy them, no, would I recommend them, no. But if they fixed that clip I would love them.
They really look nice and I love their style but that clip just really got to me. I don't know what else to say, they are nice but heir clip is just to big of a fault, other than that they are pretty solid.
