Connecting the Balanced Desktop Amp to a Portable Player via headphone jack or line out:

All hard drive players provide a headphone jack. An RCA to Mini Cable will allow you to connect the headphone jack/line out of your player into the RCA inputs on the Balanced Desktop. Be sure to note that as always, red or ‘R’, designates right channel.
- Switch the 'Source Selector' switch to ANALOG.
- Switch the 'Analog Input' switch to UNBALANCED. Use the line out if your player has it.
- iPod / iPhone listeners should always use a line out adapter to the BUDA's RCA stereo input.
Connecting BUDA to CD player/analog source via unbalanced RCA outputs:
If your audio source has RCA outputs, an RCA to RCA interconnect cable will connect it to the BUDA.
- Plug the RCA inputs into the back of the Balanced Desktop Amp, and connect the other end to RCA outputs of your analog source
- Make sure to switch the 'Source Selector' switch to analog. Place the Analog Input Switch to UNBALANCED.
Connecting BUDA to Balanced component CD player or other balanced source via balanced analog outputs:

If you have a balanced CD player or other source with stereo XLR outputs, lucky you! All you will need is a top set of balanced XLR interconnects.
-To connect your Balanced CD player to BUDA via balanced XLR interconnects, simply connect the balanced outputs to the balanced inputs on the back of the amp. BAM, the best sound possible!
-Make sure to switch the 'Source Selector' to ANALOG.
-Switch the Analog Input Switch to BALANCED.

Connecting Balanced Desktop Amp w/DAC via USB to Computers: 
The most convenient and common way to get a high quality signal out of your computer is with USB output. (If you have optical or coaxial outputs on your machine, then skip to the next section.)
- Simply plug a USB cable into your computer, and plug the smaller end into the back of the amp. In most cases your computer will instantly recognize the amplifier, but you will need to restart your music management program.
- If your computer does not recognize the device, restart; if it still is not recognized, you may need to go into your control panel/audio devices or system preferences/sound output and select ‘USB Audio Codec’ as your default audio device.
- Make sure to switch the Souce Selector Switch to Digital. Also switch the Digital Input Selector Switch to USB.
Connecting Balanced Desktop Amp w/DAC to digital source via Optical/Coaxial: 
You will need an appropriate coaxial or optical cable, visit headphone.com to purchase a cable.
- Plug one end into your source and connect the other end into the appropriate input on the back of the amp.
- Make sure to switch the Source Selector Switch to digital.
- Switch the Digital Input Selector switch to "coaxial" or "optical".
