Recommend Product: Yes
Pros: Accurate sound, good soundstage
Cons: AKG K701/2s probably not the best for classic rock.
My only wish now was that I purchased more expensive headphones since I'm under the impression that this system has much more to offer. I would seriously consider upgrading to Sennheiser HD800s or Ultrasone Edition 8s at the time of purchase. If you're into classic rock, definitely consider switching the AKGs for Denon D5000s to get the better bass response.
Would also consider purchasing a Kimber USB cable if using with your computer. This will be my next upgrade.
For Apple users out there, I would recommend using USB rather than the optical out on your built in sound card. I've run multiple A/B comparisons using Peak Pro and Amarra with high-resolution 24/96 and standard 16/44.1. The highs just aren't as good using optical as they are using USB, despite USB input being limited to 16/44.1.
