Fantastic sound but the headband is too hard

Cons: Very uncomfortable
The Sennheiser HD 800 has the best and most rich sound I ever heard in a headphone. The dynamic and clarity is fantastic.
The comfort is so bad that it interferes with the listening experience that I forget how good it sounds, because it's so uncomfortable on my head. The headband is very hard and uncomfortable, even for short listening. I have tried to put extra padding between the headband and my head, it helps somewhat but the headphone is still uncomfortable to wear.It's a shame for so expensive headphone. Maybe Beyerdonamic or Denon are more comfortable?
