Just For Looks And....More Looks

Pros: They look good around your neck
Cons: Everything else
I bought a pair of Skullcrusher some time ago as a easy over ear solution that could give me some descent bass without breaking the bank. I look into Skullcandy's that were all the rage and found the Skullcrushers on their site. When I got my stylish cans in the mail I was excited to open and try them out to see what I had just blown 60 dollars on. This is were the review kicks in.
These headphones use a "subwoofer" module located between the 3.5mm jack and the Y split on the headphone cable. It takes one AA battery to power the "bass" that these headphones can give. The packaging is a hassle as they use the hard plastic that once its open it can easily cut you. The headphones themselves feel about right for what they cost. They are all plastic but they fold up extremely nicely with little effort and the accessories they come with are pretty nifty. Decals, stereo jack, airplane adapter, and a little money sack to trolly them around. Once I put them on I found them pleasantly light and the "pleather" padding wasn't too harsh on my ear at all.
So if your this far into the review your thinking, "well hell why don't I add these to cart already?". As with all headphones the number one priority, especially on a site like this is the sound quality. The semblance in sound is just non-existent on these cans. The "bass" boost does nothing but deliver diarrhea rumbling into your ear canals and the mids and highs are just flushed into one another. The sound was unbearably bad with the bass boost module on. Luckily they include a bass adjustment knob so you can turn it all the way down to keep the cheap plastic inside the drivers from rattling about as you listen to your music. I could go on and on, but for 60 dollars I guarantee there are better solutions from Sennehiser and Sony that could deliver much more than these have to give. Terrible headphone that doesn't sound 1/4th good as it looks. Keep your money in the piggy bank on this one.

Recommend Product: Yes
Pros: Comfortable, Good sound
Cons: None at the moment
Surprisingly, these are... Wait. I paid 99 bucks last year, so I expected a lot from it. But... I got want I wanted. I got more than what I wanted. with 2 30mm speakers these are the audiophile's best choice for under 100 bucks. The cushion is amazing, unbelievably comfortable. I just wanted to fly up to heaven when I had these on. These are monster, i mean, BEAST headphones for just 65 bucks. Even if it was 200 bucks, I would've bought it.
I definitely recommend the skullcrushers.
