Awesome Sound But Not so Durable

Pros: Sounds awesome, Look great
Cons: Cords are very, very fragile
I was excited to try these out. They sound fantastic with full bass and very clean highs. The in-line mic is very handy. I ride my bike with these and with the built in button, I can answer a call or pause/play a song without taking my phone out; it's very reliable.
There is one big issue though. The sheath on the cables is so thin that when I tried to put the shirt clip on, it stripped about a half inch of the coating off leaving bare wire. Since then even more has come off in other areas. It's so weak I think just rubbing your fingernail on the cable would scrape it off. This is very disappointing. I can't return it because Headroom's return policy requires that the product be in perfect condition or they wont accept it.
Another problem is the comfort. The tapered end of the bud where you put the eartips on is larger than most in-ear buds. They can feel strange in my ears and it took a bit of experimenting to find the size of eartips that feel good. I ended up wearing medium in the right and small in the left.
I wouldn't recommend these at all. Maybe another model has better cables but I doubt it. Perhaps wait until they fix this issue and then try them out because Woodees look and sound really nice.
