I bought this cable when my HD600s stock cable died. The main question I asked myself is if a cable can really make headphones sound $200 better.
They can. I really loved my HD600s right out of the box, but this cable makes them truly shine. Don't think of it as $200. Think of it as $20 for each facet of your music that'll will be improved; bass extension, clarity, (slight) warmth, more relaxed sound....etc, etc.
4ft is short. You probably won't be connecting this to your home stereo and sitting on the sofa though. This cable is perfect for a desktop amp or a portably player. I wouldn't want anything longer if I'm sitting at my desk.
This cable is truly the old cliche of "The money's worth it if it makes you eagerly listen to all your old music again."

Strong upgrade from stock cable

Cons: Wish it were 5' or 6' instead of 4'
I purchased this cable to connect HD650's to a portable USB amp at work. While at first I thought the upgrade from the stock cable was awfully subtle for $200, over time I've really come to prefer the natural, relaxed sound of the Cardas cable.
Beware that 4' is *really* short, so you'll need to be sure that your amp can be located at the front edge of your desk so that you can comfortably sit in an office chair while using a keyboard tray.

Great sounding replacement cables

Pros: Great sounding cable for computer or iPod
Cons: Plug diameter is too large for my PC
This is a great sounding cable, and the short length works well for a PC or iPod. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the plug diameter is larger than a standard plug and my HD headphone plug on my PC is recessed with a cover. The larger diameter plug does not fit so I have to use an adapter.
