JayBird Sportsband Bluetooth
The JayBird Sportsband Bluetooth wireless headphones will come as a revelation to listeners used to the nagging, crunchy tone of most Bluetooth headsets. Thanks to the remarkable Apt-X SB2 engine behind JayBird's wireless technology, the Sportsband might be the most enjoyable-sounding Bluetooth headphones we've laid our ears on. Whether for use at the gym, office, commuting or just great wire-free listening, the tone is clear and warm with a musical engagement many wired headphones at this price can't muster. Built-in hands-free mic with call + music control buttons on earpiece. Long 50ft wireless transmission range too! Choose from 3 sporty colors.

Applications:
In our never-ending HeadRoom quest for incredible headphones of all stripes, we have put the JayBird Sportsband Bluetooth wireless headphones through months of heavy-duty evaluation jogging on the treadmill, working out at the gym and in average daily commuting applications. Through it all, the Sportband sounded engaging and amazingly musical with sense of detail that actually made us stop our workouts once or twice just to listen. Expect impressively clear, spacious sound direct from Pandora or iTunes that may make you rethink the sound quality performance potential of Bluetooth. Big yet very well-controlled bass thump sidles up against clear highs without undue stridency or harshness. The sole drawback -- as with most Bluetooth headphones -- is that overall volume is somewhat limited so if your gym insists on blasting speakers at rock concert volumes or if you find yourself in a factory-loud workplace, the Sportsband may not be able to entirely overcome the ambient noise level. That quibble aside, the Sportsband sound quality is as impressive as we've experienced from a Bluetooth 'on-ear' portable headphone at a fantastic price certain to please your pocketbook.
The JayBird Sportband headphones are an extremely slim-profile, on-ear 'supra-aural' design with a one-piece construction that makes it basically indestructable, even if accidentally dropped or stepped on. The lifetime JayBird manufacturer's warranty against damage from sweat or moisture is a nice plus. Another great plus for exercisers is the ingenious non-slip headband padding that gets tacky when moist, thus ensuring the Sportsband won't move around once you've got them on your sweaty head. The earpieces click down for general size adjustment although listeners with smaller heads may find the overall fit a bit too loose on the noggin for hard running, backyard slam-dunk competitions or hanging upside down from monkey bars at the playground. The built-in Sportsband phone mic is serviceable but its odd positioning imbedded at the bottom of the headband can make voices sound a bit wooshy on the other end when talking in high ambient noise environments. The Sportsband wirelessly pairs easy-as-pie with Droid smartphones or Apple iPhone 3G, 3GS, 4 or 4S. Consider the sold-separately JayBird iSport (for older iPods / iPhones) or the 'universal' JayBird uSport Bluetooth adaptors if you own other audio devices or computers you need to make Bluetooth wireless-ready for your JayBird cans!

Pros: They work ok. Good for work out
Cons: Battery life. Support. Rubbish warranty
When you look around you see that customers for this brand have had ongoing problems with battery life. Many people with warranty still active have sent their units back more than once.
For all the cool hype the Jaybird company is in the dark ages when it comes to customer service.

Pros: Great sound for Bluetooth.
Cons: They feel breakable. The comfort leaves a bit to be desired. Finicky buttons
The comfort level is OK. They are a little "squeezey" on the ears. I would try sticking them on a ball, but I am concerned that they would shatter with that kind of pressure. The just feel really breakable, but I've had them for over a year without breakage.
I have walked around, cut the grass and just done normal daily activities with them with no slippage problems. I have not run or done jumping jacks with them, but I feel that they would stay put well. The battery life is also good with a fairly short recharge time.
Barring the head squeezing and the cheap feel, these are great BT phones. If you are looking for great, portable, wireless and Bluetooth, these fit that construct well.
