Suitable as well for office and factory workers wanting to shut out the workplace background din, the combination of the Phiaton PS20 NC in-ear earpiece "earplug" design and battery-powered 'active' noise-cancellation delivers a potent one-two punch of silence for maximum quietude anywhere you need listening privacy. As with other Phiaton in-ear headphones, the PS20 NC sound is full and rich with great musical detail heard at all frequencies. Bass presence is rather forward and slightly more replete in the NC editions versus some of their non-noise-canceling in-ears, perhaps a by-product of the NC equalization curves employed in this model. The highly ergonomic PS20 NC earpiece fit remains another big plus for Phiaton and allows hours of comfortable without ear strain use, even for in-ear rookies.
The Phiaton PS 20 NC come in either Black or White colors and each features brass-like wire rim accents on the earpieces which serves both as a nice flash of style and also helps to grip the earpiece for ease of insertion and removal. The cord design on the Phiaton is amongst the least microphonic in the category so the PS 20NC can be effectively used on the move or at the gym sans annoying cable contact 'microphonics' being transmitted into your ears.
