Yuin G1A
Clearly, this is the world's best clip-on ("ear-clip") type headphone. It's a bit inefficient, so you might definitely want to consider a headphone amp, but the Yuin G1A is simply a terrific-sounding headphone any way you slice it -- and even more so in this difficult category not known for sound quality. Clip-on headphones are always great if you don't want to muss your hair, for use under skateboard /bicycling/sport helmets or if you just wear groovy hats that are not headphone-compatible.

YUIN strikes rich pay-dirt with the G1A, simply the best-performing clip-on "sport" headphone ever. The giant caveat is the very stiff high impedance rating makes the G1A cry out for a headphone amp of some sort to get them into their correct operating zone; Otherwise, you'll definitely have to set your portable player near maximum to get usable volume levels. Moreover, without an amp along for the ride, you likely will also not be fully maximizing the YUIN G1A's jaw-dropping sound quality, spacious sonics and musical detail resolution potential. Please consider the slightly sonically lower-performing -- but also significantly less expensive -- YUIN G2A clip-on headphone model if not using a dedicated headphone amp.
The Yuin G1A clip-on headphone earpieces are a cool brushed grey color and feature the YUIN and G1 logos on the outer earcups. The earclips themselves are a dark plastic composite and very comfortable--as far as these things go within the 'earclip' headphone genre. The Y-cord headphone cable measures 5ft long and terminates to a straight [3.5mm] 1/8" gold-plated mini-plug jack. A set of replacement earpads is thoughtfully included. 1 year warranty serviced in North America by Head-Direct Audio located in New York, USA.
