There are way too dang many interconnect cables on the market nowadays touting themselves as true "audiophile-grade" or serious 'reference' quality products. Luckily, the folks at Straight Wire in sunny Florida actually know what that means. These StraightWire RCA-to-mini interconnects are manufactured with the same loving attention to detail and superior materials used in ultra high-end cable designs but minus the sticker shock of some boutique cable makers. Gold plated left/right RCA connectors are joined by a beefy but very pliable run of cable that terminates to a single 1/8" [3.5mm] 'mini' plug.
This is a perfect audio interconnect cable for hooking up your iPod, iPad, Discman, or MP3 player into one of our RCA-input headphone amps (like our HeadRoom Desktop Amp series, for example). It will also do the trick for connecting a RCA-output audio source to a 'mini-plug' input amplifier like a HeadRoom Micro or 'Mobile Line' unit, like our HeadRoom Total BitHead.
