Koss UR 29
Quite similar to Koss UR-20 but adding a handy in-line volume control, it's hard to believe Koss can make a full-sized closed-back headphone this substantial at this low price, but here it is -- the UR-29. Ideal for commercial applications or just inexpensive personal listening in any setting, the Koss 'Mix Master' UR-29 will isolate you from outside noise and carries Koss' sweet lifetime warranty. Great choice for classrooms, audio/computer labs, museums, doctors offices, dorm rooms, commuting, etc.

Applications:
When the Koss UR-29 'Mix Master' headphones first arrived here, our HeadRoom geeks were quite excited. If Koss could deliver a totally decent $20 full-size sealed headphone with their famous UR-20 model, we wondered what would $30 bucks get us? Well, not much more it seems except a handy in-line volume control to eliminate klutzing with the volume levels on your audio player. But just getting this much relatively well-made plastic + electronics together remains a feat to marvel at considering the extremely low cost of these big durable cans. In fact, there exists few better-sounding headphones to be found at this crushingly low pricepoint. Thus, these are GREAT headphones for schools, museums, doctor's offices, computer labs or any other commercial headphone application -- or just for killer personal listening at a bargain budget. The volume control located right on cord may be a convenient plus for many users.
The Koss UR-29 Mix Master are quite rugged, sealed /closed-earcup headphones with easily cleaned 'pleather' full-size (circumaural) earpads and a nice cushy size-adjustable headband. The earcups are hinged, allowing the headphones to be folded up into a lumpy bundle for easy storage and transit. Other UR-29 Mix-Master features include that neat volume adjustment slider built into the cord and a good-looking, durable silver/black cosmetic finish. The non-detachable 8ft cord exits from the left earcup and terminates to an 1/8" (3.5mm) 'mini' plug. A full-size 1/4" plug adaptor is nicely included in the UR-29 packaging. The 100% 'Lifetime Warranty' from Koss-USA is uber-sweet too, so keep our HeadRoom "authorized Koss dealer" purchase receipt just in case!
