Two different Shure MPA versions are available based on player device compatibility. This MPA version works with Apple iPhone (only).

Apple 3-button remote control right on cord allows for easy accessibility & switchning between your iPhone music files and telephone calls.

Cons: NO MEMORY WIRE
Shure needs to get with the times and just sell two options of their headphones - one for iphones and one for smart phones. The inline controls should be included in the price. An extra $50 for a separate cord is ridiculous, especially when it's not even built the same as their standard cord (i.e., missing the memory wire).
