Pros: Really good overall sound considering the price
Cons: Not the best construction; uncomfortable
Unfortunately, there are also many cons to this product. For one (and this is a general problem with earbuds), the wires aren't well insulated, and even if you're careful, this headset probably won't last you more than a year or two due to accumulated wire damage. Also, the earbuds are rather uncomfortable, and even with the "EarFin" design, they will STILL fall out of your ears if you are doing jumping jacks, jumping rope, burpees, or anything else involving a vertical leap. I'm no longer that intense with my own training, but if you like to exercise vigorously, this might not be as good an option as a "behind the neck" type headset (though as long as you're just running, they should stay put). Finally, the treble has a tendency to sound a tad washed out, and is overpowered by the bass on some songs. You might have to adjust your levels manually on your MP3 player for the optimal sound experience. Personally, I've never been a fan of HUGE bass sound that close to the eardrum. Also, if you are really picky about rich treble sound, you might be dissapointed with the frequency response for the richly textured melodies of certain classical compositions. Personally, as much as I love classical music, I don't really listen to it much when working out.
Overall, this headset is definitely worth the $50 pricetag on Headroom, but I would NOT shell out the $80 full price they cost at many retail outlets. At the higher price, there are many better options from Etymotic, Klipsch and Denon. Still, a great workout headphone, and probably my favorite that I have used for this purpose so far.
