Ultimate Ears UE350
MSRP $49.99

The Ultimate Ears UE350 are rock-bottom priced for the high-end in-ear monitor [IEM] category, but rest assured that doesn't mean lowly rock-bottom sonic performance. In fact, the UE350's highly attractive price may perhaps dissuade some music lovers from believing that these are all they're claimed to be. Rest assured, the UE350 has deeply impressive bass response recommended for hip-hop, funk and bass lovers on a budget, along with excellent mids & highs that don't get washed out. If you're seeking great low bass in your next set of affordable in-ears, try the UE350 and compare them to any other IEM at this pricepoint -- and prepare for face-palming. We always get calls from big bass lovers looking for killer in-ear headphones with potent, punchy bass response that can handle all the low notes without washing out the rest of the music. And, oh, could we have that for under $50 bucks, please? As always, HeadRoom brings you the answer with the Ultimate Ears UE 350 in-ear monitors / earbuds. Employing the easy-to-wear 'shallow-fit' design of typical earbuds but with the personalized eartip options and excellent noise isolation properties of true in-ear monitors [IEMs], the UE 350 neatly splits those ergonomic differences with a comfortable earpiece that almost anyone can wear, even newbies to in-ear headphones. Of course, bass mavens needing to hear low-end kick drum and bass guitar deeply reproduced have indeed come to the right place. The Ultimate Ears UE 350 tone definitely has tons of sub-bottom authority and heft certain to please bassheads everywhere. Thankfully, its also without murk or darkness infecting the rest of the sound, so the overall presentation avoids the always-dreaded "one-note" boomy bass response -- a rather difficult feat to achieve, specially at this good price -- and the music retains impressive texture even in the lowest octaves. The mids and highs also remain present and accounted for with pretty darn good definition and upper-note extension, so we're stoked the UE 350 'Extra-Bass' design is not marketing shorthand for "bass only" sound. Really a great HeadRoom-recommended deal on high-quality in-ears for big bass thumpitude seekers.
The Ultimate Ears UE350 earphone comes from a long line of high-quality in-ear designs dating back to the pioneering UE 'Super.Fi' models back in the early 2000s. Now completely updated by Logitech with all the latest technological in-ear monitor advancements like weightless rapid-response neodymium driver arrays and extra-tough Kevlar cord reinforcement, the build construction of the UE 350 appears bomb-proof to withstand exercise use and non-stop portable listening out & about. The slightly-rounded, small flat-back earpiece on the UE350 makes it useable for under-helmet wear for bikers or cyclists while also rendering it ideal for sleeping or laying down without protuding earpieces ruining the shut-eye. The UE350 package includes several pairs of proprietary eartip sets, amongst the most effective selection of 'universal fit' ear sleeves offered by any manufacturer. The 2-year free manufacturer's 'repair or replace' service warranty remains in place only with your HeadRoom authorized Logitech/UE dealer purchase receipt.

Pros: Great sound for a cheap price
Cons: Left is louder than right
They sound great.
And they are cheap.
Unfortunately I am having the same balance issue.
I am currently using them with a 48 point difference. (L=28, R=76)
My assumption: the built in sound card on my work PC had damaged them.
I contacted Logitech and they sent me a new pair. (The mic style)
I am now using an Audigy sound card but the damage seems to be done.
I may try cleaning the screens as recommended.
Unfortunate but I can't help but give it a 4/5.
**EDIT**
After cleaning they are much better! (L=35, R=44)
Take caution when clean the screen it is VERY thin and VERY fragile!
You will most likely cave it in and then need to reseat it with a toothpick.
Kind of a pain but it makes a big difference.
I guess this screen clogs pretty easy.
None of this, however, changes my review.

Pros: Great sound, Good value
Cons: Build quality isn't the greatest.
EDIT:
After fiddling with the mesh covers more I finally got the panning balanced and they actually stayed that way for a good month until I lost them. Ordering another pair.
