An exclusive Urbanears feature is the 'Zound' plug on the right ear which allows another person to plug their headphones into the Urbanear Zound plug and connect up to 5 Plattan headsets without signal loss or distortion. The Urbanears Plattan are available in 14 bold fashion-forward color schemes. The colors of the Urbanears packaging are identical to the product inside and a matte finish reflects the rubberized cosmetics colors. The box is made out of thin but high-quality cardboard; product images on packaging represent actual size. The nifty hinged headband construction allows the Plattan headphones to easily fold down into a nice small bundle for ease of transit. The solid sliding metal headband posts allow for basic size adjustments for wearers of all sizes and the non-detachable, cloth-sheathed cable extends roughly about 4 feet. The plug type is a stereo 3.5mm [1/8"] mini-plug ideal for all iPods, laptop computers, most iPhones [except 1st gen] and all MP3 players. The cord contains the microphone and remote button housed conveniently on-cable. The free 1-year manufacturer's premium "repair or replace" warranty covers any Plattan eventualities or defects if sent back to the Urbanears facility for warranty service coverage.
