On April 30, 2010, HeadRoom employees, Board of Directors, and community friends gathered to celebrate HeadRoom's Founder, Tyll Hertsens.
Tyll started HeadRoom in 1992 with the mission of making and delivering phenomenal headphone gear to the masses. (Read more about our Founder's Story, here.) We now celebrate all the success that Tyll has created for HeadRoom, and wish him luck on the next phase of his journey.
Watch for future updates on Tyll's new projects, which includes a non-profit organization dedicated to the Headphone Hobby, and a consulting business that includes conducting headphone measurements for HeadRoom. With Tyll's creative energy and extensive technical knowledge, we all look forward to seeing Tyll's success continue, in his words, as a "professional headphone geek".

...”As we redesigned our site, we looked to strike a balance of having customers still recognize HeadRoom; being e-commerce friendly and inviting to anyone who comes to our site and wants to buy personal audio gear; and, still appealing to enthusiasts who want to sink their teeth into some beefy technical commentary.
