For our international customers, we ship problem-free all over the world on a daily basis. However, restrictions and special conditions do apply, so please read the fine print below before placing your order.
How to Order
There are three basic ways to place an international order: Please call us at 1-406-587-9466 to place your order and receive a shipping quote. OR you can email Customer Service or Sales. You can also place an order on our secure website. Keep in mind that international shipping costs are not automated so shipping fees will not immediately reflect on your HeadRoom order (they will be accrued at the time of order processing, and charged at the time of shipment). Your actual shipping charge can NOT be calculated on-line. If you need to know your shipping charge before placing your order please call or email us to receive an ESTIMATE. Shipping costs are wholly dependent on the country of destination, shipping weight, and size dimensions of your package.
When placing an order on our website, please enter 'XX' for the state (country). You can then type in your address and postal zip code -- if applicable -- in the regular address fields, and use the 'Notes/Comments' section at the bottom of the order form to finish up any details regarding shipping information. Also, be sure to write out the full name of your country of destination.
Limitations: We are not able to ship all products to all locations in the world, due to dealer restrictions, credit card verification/authorization issues, limited package tracking, delivery problems, or other reasons. In the case of dealer restrictions, these limitations are typically specified on the product pages. Also, you may be required to use a certain carrier (FedEx or USPS) depending upon the country of destination. We reserve the right to restrict or limit shipping locations at our discretion, and may notify you at any time of these restrictions.
Shipping Methods
FedEx: Our primary international carrier is Federal Express. We highly recommend FedEx because they maintain an excellent shipment tracking system as well as being a highly reliable & very rapid worldwide delivery service.
USPS Shipping: USPS International Express Mail shipping is available upon customer request for certain items. Insurance is required on all packages between $50-$500USD. Packages under $50 do not require insurance, and insurance is not available for packages over $500. If an uninsured package is lost or stolen, HeadRoom is not responsible. Tracking is not available with USPS, we have no way of tracking your order, so please don’t ask. If you are purchasing a high value product, we HIGHLY recommend using FedEx for their reliability and tracking features.
Costs: Typical international FedEx and USPS shipping costs run anywhere from $30-$100, depending on the distance of your country to the U.S., whether you are in an urban or rural area, the particular country you reside in, and the package weight/size. We do not profit from our international shipping; charges are simply calculated by the weight of the items and shipping destination. Payment Methods
We accept our usual methods of payment for international orders; Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover credit/debit cards, as well as PayPal. If you would like to use PayPal to pay for your order, please send PayPal payment to paypal@headphone.com and we will process your order and contact you if we have any questions. Please remember to include your telephone number for all orders! We may solicit additional information from you in order for us to verify the authenticity of your credit card or PayPal order. Please provide all accurate billing information, including billing address and full name on your credit card upon ordering. HeadRoom reserves the right to hold shipments in order for credit card verification, and/or cancel suspicious or fraudulent orders.
Duties & Taxes
Customers are responsible for any and all taxes and/or international customs duties due on your HeadRoom shipment. We can not determine the amount of these VAT fees, import taxes, or customs brokerage fees, and they are in no way a part of our HeadRoom shipping costs. For more information, please consult your government's local customs agency or your neighborhood FedEx office.
Customs declaration: It is illegal for HeadRoom Corporation to under-declare the actual value of any product(s) shipped internationally. This rule is NOT flexible under any circumstances. So please don't ask our staff to mark your overseas package as a "gift", "sample", unauthorized "repair", or as a discounted item -- we just can't do it!
Returning Shipments: Please note you remain responsible for all shipping charges & customs taxes even if you decide to return your HeadRoom package. We do not refund shipping charges under ANY circumstances!
