OPPO HA-2SE Portable Headphone Amplifier and DAC

NEW 'SE' VERSION !

An amazing piece of equipment at a price that is hard to believe.  Every feature of the Oppo HA-2SE screams quality from the form factor to its overall features and internal hot-rod design.

The Oppo HA-2SE has one of the world's top-performing Digital to Analog Converters (DACs) inside, the ESS Sabre 9028.  These chips provide amazing detail, clarity and sonic accuracy from any digital device to create an extremely impressive sound presentation in an easily portable package.  The Sabre DAC accepts nearly any type of file format and high resolution audio up to 32/384kHz as well as DSD formats too.  The HA2  unit will accept a digital signal from any iPhone, iPad, iPod (even the iPod Classic!), Android based phone or tablet, PC or laptop.  It can also connect out to any analog device, making it  an extremely versatile unit that is broadly applicable to wide swath of music-loving listeners.

The dimensions of the Oppo HA 2 SE are a perfect match for just about any smartphone and it's internal rechargeable Li-Ion battery gets approximately 7 hours using the digital input and nearly 13 hours using the analog line input.  There is a High/Low gain adjustment to allow use with even the most sensitive headphones up to more demanding full size high-impedance audiophile cans.  A bass boost switch is a nice touch if you find need for a little more booty bump in the lower frequencies.  Also featured is a quick battery indicator button to check the battery level at a glance; it also doubles as the status LED while charging.

If you are concerned about future Apple iOS products like the iPhone 7 smartphone dropping the headphone jack, worry yourself no more. The Oppo HA-2SE headphone and DAC unit is an easy no fuss, no muss solution since it will connect directly to the Apple lightning port.  We think there's no need to hesitate picking up the Oppo HA-2 SE if you're looking to score the maximum acoustic performance from any player device and your great pair of headphones. Highly recommended by our staff here at headphone.com without reservation!
