Grado quarter to eighth inch plug Adapter
If you need to connect your big full-size 1/4" headphone plug into an audio source with a small mini 1/8" (3.5mm) jack, this short cable will solve your problems instantly. Featuring a quality flexible 8" cord length, it's a very handy 1/4"-to-1/8" adapter to have around and will help minimize undue strain on audio source jack connections that can sometimes cause intermittent sound and/or premature termination wear. Nice one, Grado Labs!

Pros: Durable, High Quality
Cons: Expensive, Heavy
I was surprised that the Grado came in a large vinyl pouch and even more surprised at the size. It is very hefty for an adapter and seems very durable at that. There is 8 inches of high quality cable between the plugs. The 1/4" plug is long, heavy, and built like a tank. In fact, the whole adapter is a bit larger and heavier than I think I would have liked personally. Plugged into my Droid mobile phone, it looks rather unwieldy. Still, you can't beat the quality and Grado guarantees that you will not lose any sonic quality from the use of their adapter. In hindsight, for my use, I think the Hosa may have been better as it appears to be about half the length. If the length is beneficial or inconsequential, then I highly recommend the Grado adapter.
