Pros: great sound, low price
Cons: terrible build quality, cords tangle absurdly easily
After a very short period of light use one of the units came apart, damaging the wiring in the process.
The fabric cabling is a major drawback due to how hard it is to keep them from kinking and tangling. If no other portable headphones have this feature it would not surprise me. All downside.
Until/unless it is clear that Maximo has dramatically improved how they build these, AVOID them.

Pros: Great sound
Cons: Poor quality, poor fit (for my ears)
Its a pity because I love the sound- quite balanced and transparent for $50 bud.
They also would not stay in my ear- and I tried all their silicone fittings. If they don't fit right the sound will be skewed so it doesn't matter how good they are.
I have a pair of cheaper Skull Candy that I use now instead of these. Sound is pretty good if not quite as good (bass heavy so bass reducer is necessary). as the iMetals. Fit is perfect and no quality issues to date, so all things considered a better choice.
As always, YMMV.
