Monster Beats by Dr.Dre Tour
The tunes are good, but the looks are Monsterously exquisite with Beats by Dr.Dre Tour in-ear headphones. With features roughly on-par with other in-ears at this price & category, the shining characteristic of these cans is their cool design and excellent bass response. The gloss black & chrome earpieces with red/white Dre logo flow into a sexy Ferrari-red flat cord terminating to a 3.5mm 'mini' jack. Marvelously executed exercise in form and function by Noel Lee & Monster.

According to Dr.Dre, people aren't hearing all the music the way many artists and producers intended. Monster Beats-by Dr.Dre Tour in ear headphones correct that problem with slamming punchy musical detail, fabulously fly looks, and probably the most flexible tangle-resistant cord design we've ever seen. Of course, big hip-hop bass comes correct with these miniaturized gems but if you enjoy a bit more authoritative bass heft in your rock-n-roll, soul, or modern jazz, these earphones are also sure to please. High efficiency drivers provide clean robust volume without requiring the use of a dedicated headphone amp. Effortless in-ear fit and easy to handle earpiece ergonomics makes these an especially 'newcomer friendly' choice in the category.
The Monster Beats by Dr.Dre earpieces come with an excellent selection of five types of proprietary Monster-engineered eartip pairs in varying sizes & materials. One set is sure to be perfectly right for your particular ears. The brick-red Beats by Dr.Dre earphone cable is a patent-pending Monster innovation offering flat-wound micro-strand wiring, reduced static interference, AND it remains completely tangle-free--definitely a giant time-saver when taking the earphones out of their protective storage case. Pros: Big bass, good lookng
Cons: Poor mids and highs, poor value for what you get
I listened to She's Like The Wind by Vibekingz ft. Maliq. When the beat broke in I thought these earphones were awesome. It had huge bass and booming to the extent that my eardrums were vibrating. Then, unfortunately, the lyrics began to play. And it was utterly RUBBISH! It sounded like he was blowing into the mic while recording the song or it had a bit rate of 40kbps.
I continued to listen and then put on my favorite band, The Script. I got the same disgusting results, and my brain forced me to remove these horrible earphones, before my music experiences were ruined forever.
As for comfort, these are not great either. With the standard tips on(the ones in the pictures) they kept falling out of my ears. Maybe its just my ears, but my Sennheisers won't fall out of my ears during an earthquake so I doubt its my ears.
All though these are the worst earphones I've ever heard, I must say that they look really cool and modern. But at the end of the day I'm the one enjoying them (well at least trying to enjoy them) not the guy next to me on the bus. So I personally don't care how my earphones look.
I can't really comment on the durability as yet. Since there's nothing wrong with them, not yet at least. But looking at previous reviews, they are as fragile as glass.
All round these earphones are a complete waste of money. I have a pair of Sennheiser CX 300 II and I would much rather spend $70 on those than $250 on these. (South African retail prices)
