The O-One's nifty ''S-Logic'' technology ingeniously places the headphone speaker driver elements just slightly off-axis inside the earcups, thus allowing sound waves to reach the ears in a manner more akin to natural 'room sound' and keeping the spatial cues needed for realistic soundstage depth and definition. With such highly accurate sound reproduction, the Ortofon 0-One delivers audio performance applauded not just by DJs but also by musicians, producers and discerning listeners alike.
The Ortofon O-One headphones have fully folding / collapsible features for transport and/or storage into the provided Ortofon-logo headphone pouch. The 0-One has slightly larger circumaural earcups compared to the Ortofon 02 model, which has a slightly more "on-ear" construction design; these O-One cushions fit all the way around the ear for maximum isolation and long wearing comfort. The replaceable velour-type earpads and the easily detachable headphone cable system are ideal for trouble-free cord and cushion replacements or upgrades down the road. The total overall cord length is approximately 9 ft. The perfectly round full-size O-One earcups sport a red ringed Ortofon graphic encircling the outer earpieces for a bit of extra-cool club flash.
