The Shure SE315 in-ear monitors have a highly efficient 27 Ohm impedance for easy pairing with all portable audio sources like MP3 players, iPods/iPads, and laptops sans dedicated headphone amplification. Pros: Shapable Cord
Cons: Broken cord, distorted bass
Overall I would recommend these at a really great value for the price point. Though see my review for the 425s... for the extra money, if you've got it, def buy them.
I would have probably kept these but the cord broke after just 2 days. I might have wrapped the cord around my ipod 5x before they went. Very frustrating. I know they would be honored under warranty - just be prepared to buy a new cord.
On that note, the cord gets kinked up easily.
Slight steroeophonics when the cord rubs against stuff but truly negligible - I'm just being picky.
